July Letter

Dear Family & Friends,

Hi everyone! I hope you have had a nice and safe and happy July. As always, we've done A LOT of baking. That's just what we do up here on the mountain. I love to help!

For the 4th of July we had a neighborhood breakfast at our neighbors the Harper's house. It was fun. And we watched the fireworks from our back deck which was AWESOME because we could see dozens of shows going off all over Utah county.

We took a camping trip up to Yellowstone this month. It was my first time sleeping in a tent and it was so cool!

I got to play with my cousins Emma, Eden and Mila a lot and had so much fun. They are my best buddies.

We also chartered a boat and went out on a guided fishing tour. It was so cool. We all caught HUGE cut throats and had a fantastic time fishing off the boat.

When we got back from Yellowstone we finally got out dog Chowder. He is so cute and I love playing with him (a little too much at times actually).

Towards the end of the month our backyard project finally started moving. We got a TON of dirt and I loved watching our friend Don bring in his big trucks and move all that dirt around. He also built our rock walls and built me a waterfall in my backyard. I LOVE waterfalls!

We have been doing a lot of work on the backyard as well. I even helped dad put in a brick pad off the bottom deck. I love hard work and I also love loading up rocks in my dumptruck and taking them off into the woods to dump them.

And my friends are over every day to play in the dirt with me. We play all day. Needless to say I get lots of baths lately.

The backyard is almost done, we are just waiting for sod now which hopefully will happen in August or September.

I hope that you are all doing well. I love you all and miss you.

Love Sam Wade Barnhisel
