January Letter

Dear Family & Friends,

Happy New Year everyone! I hope that your 2019 is off to a good start. I have had a good January. I am not sure how much I love the snow but I have had a few opportunities to go out and play in it. I refuse to keep mittens on so I get pretty cold. But I am fascinated with the snow fall.

I am very much a lover. A rough and tumbler lover but definitely a lover. When mom and dad kiss I automatically pucker up to show I want in on some of that. And I often kiss all my toys, the walls, the oven, whatever is around. 

My #1 love is for sure my DAD! I cry every time he leaves for work or for anything else. When dad is home I am his shadow and don't let him out of my sight. I love my dad more than anyone in the world!

Thanks to Brandon & Kyle I spend a lot of time watching soccer games. They are pretty fun. I am not allowed to go to basketball games because I insist on having the ball all to myself and want out on the court. But soccer games I am a little better contained and so I get to go to those some times.

I love toys, especially ones with wheels. I love to line up all my cars, trucks, trains, tractors, airplanes, etc and play with them. Wheels and balls are my fav! Just so you know, every ball in the house belongs to me.

I am getting better at sitting for a haircut. Brandon took me for my latest haircut and brought me home with a fohawk which was pretty studly!

Next to my daddy, my stuffed animals are my next greatest love. I love on them all day. And then after I've given them a good love I generally throw them up in the air and then body slam them. Rough and tumble lover, just like I said!

As much as I have enjoyed January I am looking forward to spring when I can go outside more. I love to play outside. That trampoline is definitely calling my name.

December Letter

Dear Family & Friends,

Hello everyone! I hope you had a wonderful December! I had a great time!! I got to experience snow. I was a little unsure at first but decided it's super fun!!

I'm also not sure about talking with Santa. However, I have decided that I like Santa. He came through on Christmas morning!!

We did lots of fun things over the month. I really liked going to temple square and seeing all the lights. It was really fun. Especially when they let me out of the stroller and I got to run loose!

Another thing we love to do is to go to Gardner Village and see the witches. I love it there. And Brandon works there so we go there often. 

I had fun watching my dad and brothers decorate gingerbread houses. I had some gingerbread men to decorate but I wasn't very into that. I just wanted them to keep giving me treats to snack on. 

We had our family Christmas party at Aunt Melissa's house. It was super fun. They got a new puppy which I was pretty fascinated by. Aunt Melissa has lots of awesome toys. I think I just might have to move there.

Christmas Eve night we tracked Santa and put out cookies and milk for him. And I got Santa pjs. They are my favorite and I want to wear them all the time now.

I got lots of fun presents for Christmas. Stuffed animals and books are always some of my favorites.

My brothers had a great Christmas too! It was a super fun morning. Plus we had Grandpa Pat here with us which was great!

Santa brought me my own fire engine. I love it! It's my favorite place to hang out. My brothers push me around in it also which is super fun!

We had a super fun New Years Eve. I love my 2019 light up glasses. We had the first annual Barnhisel Family Cake Wars. It was so much fun! Dad and I made a silly faced cake. It was so fun! Brandon won the vote as the Cake War Champion but I think next year I'm going to win it!

I am looking forward to the new year and hope that you are too! I love you all!
