May Letter

Dear Family & Friends,

Hi everyone!  How are you?  I am doing great! I am eating well, sleeping well and growing!  And I'm a very happy calm baby.  I cry when I'm hungry or tired but other then that I am pretty chill.  I still sleep a lot during the day and I go to bed around 7:00 in the evening.  Mom tanks me up in my sleep around 10:00 and then I sleep until 4:00 - 5:00 in the morning.  I eat and then go back to sleep until 7:00 - 8:00.  It's a pretty good system.  I could probably skip that early morning feeding but I love my mom and like to see her.  I only cry until I see her and then I'm all smiles! :) (Mom says I'm a stinker!)

I love my brothers.  They take really good care of me and love me so much.  They drop everything to take care of me.  And now that they are out of school for the summer they babysit me all the time.  Mom gets to sleep in, go to the gym, go to the grocery store, whatever she needs to do without me tagging along.  I just hang out at home with my bros.  They are super cool!

My favorite (and only) toy at this point is "Scary Doll".  Aunt Melissa gave him to me in the hospital.  We call him scary doll because his eyes are kinda creepy.  But he's soft and I love to wrestle him.  Thanks Aunt Melissa!  Other then that, I just love to play with and chew on my fists.  And I am VERY smiley! :)

I spend a lot of time out at the soccer fields.  Brandon and Eric finished up their school soccer season this month and Brandon and Kyle are almost done with their rec seasons as well. It's fun, I love going to their soccer games.

Wherever I go I find that I am VERY popular.  Not only do my brothers love me so much but so do all their friends.  What can I say ... I'm a super cute guy!

I'm very much a mamas boy.  I can be crying for daddy or one of my brothers but pretty much all it takes is a smile, a snuggle or just hearing mommy's voice and I calm right down.  I just love my mom.

I also love ceiling fans.  I try to talk to them.  I am very fascinated by them.  I am starting to coo a lot. I also communicate by clicking my tongue and by blowing raspberries.  I don't love baths although I am getting less angry about them as time goes on.  I fall asleep almost instantly to the sound of running shower water or the sound of the blow dryer.  Mom's kinda tricky that way.

I hope that you are all doing great.  Hope to hear back from you.

Love Sam Wade Barnhisel
