November Letter

Dear Family & Friends,

Hi guys! I have had a fun month, and I hope everyone is doing great! My parents took me to Salem Pond. I love walking around and seeing new things, and I love that my mommy and daddy spend so much time with me!

I love spending time with my friends Leah, Blair and Sage. We get along so well, and I am glad I got to move here! We like to eat snacks, play with toys, and sing together!

Whenever my family bakes, I like to help. I do such a great job of pouring sugar into empty bowls that my parents can't believe it! They are so proud! I also love eating whatever we bake, which is maybe why I'm so eager to help in the first place.

In addition to helping my family, I love to bake cookies with Brandon, who I affectionately call "Billo". My favorite thing to do is to sit on the counter by my brothers mixer and "watch". I work on my speech while I do this, yelling my variations of "sugar", "eggs", and "chips" (chocolate) in the most adorable way possible. My second favorite thing to do is to eat the cookies when they are nice and warm!

My daddy turned 44 this month! He got presents, and I was more than happy to help him open them! I love my dad, and I like to give him hugs and be held by him. My daddy works hard so that I can be warm at night and eat lots of snacks. I am so grateful for him.

I am the best at shoveling the driveway ever! My brothers don't know what they're doing with their straight lines and order, I bring chaos and art to such a drab job! I love using my Sam-sized shovel to help in any way I can. I especially like shoveling with my grandpa, who I call "gapapa".

My brothers taught me how to throw snowballs this month, much to the dismay of my parents. I even hit Brandon in the face! I was the undisputed winner of the snowball fight! But I don't care about that. I just love spending time with my brothers.

Ah yes, my next victim, the Christmas tree. My parents had to put the ornaments up a little higher than usual so I can't reach them, and my brothers are waiting to put presents under the tree, because I will get them! I love the light and color of the tree, but my parents don't understand that my destruction is because of my adoration for the tree. I can't wait for my third Christmas season!

I have been doing great, and I loved seeing my cousins over the Thanksgiving break, especially Vivian. I can't wait to see you guys soon!

   Love,
       Sam Wade Barnhisel.

October Letter

Dear Family & Friends,

I've had a blast this month. I love living in the mountains. I've been going on a lot of walks lately. I love walks! I lve all of the nature around me. It's like I'm living in a dream!

I love bubble on the heaters. They keep me nice and warm on the cold days. I love to bring my toys on the heater and play.

I love climbing on the rocks and exploring the woods by are house. I love it!

I love going on rides with my daddy! I love riding through the nice, crisp air. I beg for wheels whenever I can.

I've been working on getting potty trained. I can finally where undies like a big boy. I just need to learn how to go potty by myself.

I love halloween, and I went to Jakers. Jakers was so fun. I had a blast. I met some of my friends, and I loved playing in the corn. The slides were very fun, and my brothers had to forcefully take me home from Jakers. I didn't want to leave, it was so fun.

I love working with my family. I'm a great worker, and enjoy it. I helped my family move some wood so I could be nice and toasty in my house. I was such a great helper, and I really showed my impressive muscles.

I love the snow. I like to help my family shovel. The snow is so fun to play in. The snow dosen't bother me one bit.

For halloween, I dressed up as a train conductor. I looked so cute in my costume. I got lots of candies, and I love eating them. But my brothers keep stealing my candy.

I've been learning to speak better. I've been getting a lot smarter. I love my house, and all my toys. Bye!

August Letter

Dear Family & Friends,

Hello, how have you been? This month was great! We went to the cabin for the last time. We sold our cabin since we moved up to the mountains anyway. I won't remember much of the cabin.

My cousin Grant and Annie's wedding was this month. We went to the temple and I was confused when I found out I couldn't go in with mommy and daddy. I still had fun playing outside with my cousins though. After the wedding was other we went to a fancy restaurant that had really tasty bread. It was super fun.

We moved out of our house. I won't remember much of that place either. I'm going to miss the pool and trains going by but our new house is awesome. We packed all of my clothes and toys into boxes and the movers took it to our new house. It was weird seeing everything packed up.

We had to stay in a condo in Payson because we hadn't got the keys to our house yet. They had a pool though. We went swimming and it was super fun. I played with daddy and we had a lot of fun.

I love our new house. I love playing outside with sticks. I also love to go on four wheeler rides as well. I beg mom for a ride every day. We see lot's of deer and turkeys up here. I love going outside whenever I see a deer.

I walk with Kyle to his bus each morning. I love buses. I even got a toy bus at the store. Whenever I see a bus I yell "BUS".

I love riding my motorcycle outside. I still don't know how to use the pedals so I use my feet to push myself along the driveway.

As I said before I love four wheeler rides. Whenever I go on a ride I always want to ride on the "white" one. I like the red four wheeler but I like the white one better.

I can say more words now. I can say truck, baseball, football and lot's of other new words. I love playing with my toys and going outside. I hope you all have a great fall. Bye.

July Letter

Dear Family & Friends,

This month has been crazy! Or so everyone says. I am always crazy and I honestly have no idea what is going on so July was great for me! We had a family vacation over the 4th of July weekend up to Beaver. We did a lot of 4-wheeling, fishing and hanging out with cousins. It was a lot of fun!

Grandma Chris and Aunt Jenny took Kyle and I to the aquarium which was so cool!!! There were so many fishies there and I loved every second of it!

I guess we are moving. Mom keeps telling me that I get to have a new house in the mountains. Because of that, mom and I stayed home from our family vacation to Washington. Dad and my brothers went to Mt. Rainier and the Washington coast. I missed my dad so much that I'd kiss the screen when I got to video chat with him and I'd cry at the computer when he was no longer there talking with me.

I'm glad when daddy's home. He started working at his new job at the Currant Creek power plant in Mona so he's been gone during the work week and home on the weekends. I will be glad when I get to see my daddy every day again instead of just a couple days a week.

Two of my favorites. Ice and Ice cream!

I hope you are all doing well. I will write you again from my new house in the mountains. Mommy says I am going to have deer in my yard and wild turkeys. I'll report back and let you know if that's really true.

June Letter

Dear Family & Friends,

Hi guys! I have had a fantastic June! This month, I got to go to a movie theater for the first time! I watched "Aladdin", and it was really good. I behaved so well, and I really liked eating the popcorn there.

I love four-wheelers! Of course, I love wheels, and because an ATV has four wheels I just like it a lot. I can't wait to learn how to drive myself, like my brothers and parents.

I really love the cabin! I have taken up my brother's old habit of playing with dump trucks (probably because they have wheels). I load whatever I can find and push the trucks around.

It was Father's Day this month! I love my daddy! Sometimes too much, because I won't leave him alone for a second. I am glad to have the world's best Dad!

Another fun activity I enjoy is jumping on the trampoline. I usually jump with one of my brothers, and I will jump for hours. Sometimes though, I just lay on my back and look at the clouds and airplanes.

I have found heaven on Earth! I love going to the pool, probably because it is filled with "wa-wa". I like to play in the water and spray my brothers with squirt guns! I beg to go every morning "Pool, Pool, Pool!", and ask "Why?" when my brothers say I can't go.

We also were able to pick up an inflatable pool for our backyard! Now I get to spray my brothers with water even when they think they are safe! I also like to jump on the tramp with a sprinkler underneath. I just love water!

My brother Eric turned 14 this month! I love my brother and everything he does for me. I also found out that I enjoy singing "Happy Birthday" and will sing it on command, even though I only know one word, "happy".

I hope everyone is doing well. I am talking more and more, and my favorite phrase is "Oh. Yeah.", i response to being told why I can't do something. Love you all!
