December Letter

Dear Family & Friends,

Hi everyone! Hope you had a great December and have lots of things that you look forward to in the new year!  We went downtown to Temple Square and saw the lights which was awesome! I got to get pushed around all bundled up and cozy.  I've got the life!

We had our Barnhisel Family Christmas party at Aunt Melissa's house.  Their dog really likes me.  She licks me a lot.  I must taste really good!

I got to open presents which was fun once I got a hold of it and could get it to rip. I did need some help though.

On Christmas Eve we had out own little family time at home.  We all got joggers and tracked Santa and watched Christmas movies and had fun together.  We also put out cookies for Santa.

On Christmas morning we found stuff in our stockings and a big sack delivered just for me from Santa.  I got a bowl for my Cheerios, some sippy cups, bath toys and a stuffed animal.  It was super fun to open more presents.  Oh and Eric gave me my favorite ... peanut butter!

We spent the week between Christmas and New Years down in St George with Grandma Chris, Aunt Amy and Aunt Lizzy & Uncle Wyatt and Lydia.  It was really fun and we had really nice weather.  We stopped off at the new Cedar City temple on our way down.  That was really great.

While down there we did a lot of hiking and Aunt Amy taught us how to "Earth".  It was such a great trip and we had so much fun and really enjoyed the clear blue sky!!

I had my 9 month checkup this month.  I weigh 20.5 lbs and am 29.2" tall.  That puts me in the 44th percentile for my weight and the 77th percentile for my height.  I learned to army crawl and now I get around wherever I want to go.  I do get up on my knees some, into a plank position but haven't quite figured out how to crawl on my knees yet. I pretty much eat everything and just love all food!  When I'm happy or excited I circle my toes, both outward which is pretty cute!  It's easy to tell when I'm excited!

I hope you are all doing well and have a great 2018!

Love Sam Wade Barnhisel
