March Letter

Dear Family & Friends,

I'm HERE!  I was supposed to arrive on St. Patrick's Day but I didn't want to wait that long.  I broke Mommy's water late at night on Sunday, March 5th and by 1:07 on March 6th I was here via C-Section.  Mommy & Daddy say I am perfect!  I was a surprise because I was so small, for a Barnhisel!  7 lbs 2 oz and 20 inches long.  I am just a little peanut.  My full name is Sam Wade Barnhisel. Wade is my daddy's middle name.

I love my family.  They take really good care of me.  I have three big brothers who love to hold me, change me, feed me and they never even get mad when I pee on them or spit up on them. They are great!

I love to sleep.  It's my fav!  I am a good sleeper at night also.  I'm only up once a night.  When I am awake I am VERY HUNGRY and love to eat which is good since I am just a small fry and need to bulk up.  I do have a hard time staying awake to eat since I just love my sleep.  The only time I really fuss is when I have to have my diaper changed or my clothes changed.  I don't like to be cold.  

I spend a lot of time at my brothers' soccer games and at the grocery store with mommy because she says it's a full time job keeping my brothers fed.  I'm super chill and just go with the flow wherever we need to go.  Mommy and I go on walks a lot also.  I like to be outside.  

I've been able to meet a lot of my family and hope to meet everyone else soon. If only I could stay awake to do it ...
